Reason of State No. 2

Reason of State No.2 = A word game: By replacing “ei” from Verteidigung (defense) with “o” we get a word in another word (Tod=death) that conveys in conjunction with the two letters on either side of it, this blind-to-the-consequences arms race to war — and we have a word that doesn’t yet appear in any dictionary.

No news about „Gilette Muette“

Unfortunately, we still have no news of the legendary French star “Gilette Muette,” who disappeared a few years ago after only three films. – And for whom our Sehnsucht remains as strong as ever! – Always! – Always! https://wolfgangoe.de/category/gilette-muette/ But it’s time to remember the total and fervent adoration that some very unlikely people had for her. Here, at the launch of a submarine named after her. We hope she continues to float peacefully in her underwater quarters, traveling across all known and unknown seas.

The touch of madness …

…  sweeps cloud like across Germany.
It billows back and forth up there like an invisible, farting sea.
Created by the primates at the top of the state.
Inhaled by their subjects—from host to parasite.
And exhaled again all around in nostrils greedily sucking it in.
It can go nowhere else—this billowing cloud of madness.
It cannot disperse and make itself useful elsewhere.
It caresses the thoughts of host and parasite in an eternal cycle.
It caresses their limbs. Their joints. Their organs, incessantly, inside and out.
Caresses their eyes. Their tongues and teeth. Their desires and their fears.
Caresses their anger and their desire for redemption.
Finally, through their breath, caresses the words they utter:
“We can no longer bear to be mere spectators!”
“We want what contradicts us to be destroyed!”
“We demand the annihilation of our enemy!”
“Every day he is shown to us on TV!”
“Give us war! – We want war!”
“We want to be redeemed from our anger!”
